About me
I grew up in Cartersville, Ga. where I was heavily involved in performing arts. My mother was a teacher and my father was a high school football coach (the head coach at my own school, which carries its own stories) and have one younger brother. I attended the University of Georgia where I graduated with degrees in journalism and literature and also attended Oxford University for a semester to study literature and the social effects of mass media. Since graduating in 2007, I have held positions in politics, marketing, and in journalism as both a reporter and an editor. I am currently working on a Southern fiction novel.
